info on Felicity and Elizabeth's coach

I just posted this in the thread about E's collections, but also wanted to post it here. I don't think anyone has mentioned this detail yet:

I don't know if anyone else has posted on this, but when I saw the coach this weekend, the seat inside lifts up little and has some storage space underneath. That was a suprise. The PS that showed me all of E's things said that maybe it was to store their luggage while they travelled. ?

That's cool Laurie! I would like to hear everything about the carriage. It is the first item on DD'S b-day list, so we will be getting it as soon as it is available. It loos just darling.

I didn't take a picture of the storage area, but I want to say it was at least 3-4" deep. You could definitely store dresses in there lying flat if you wanted. A travel trunk would have to be pretty small to fit inside realistically, and I know Felicity's original trunk was quite small and doesn't hold much. I don't own it myself and after I heard how small it was, I decided it wasn't worth the ebay prices to me.

From the pictures I have seen, it looks like there could be room on the back ledge for a small trunk outside the carriage.

Hi Everyone, I'm new. [img]wink.gif[/img] I've been collecting Felicity's items since I was 9 years old- 11 years ago! I missed a few things like her travel trunk, though. Does anyone know for sure if the rumors about it being re-released are true? It would seem so based on this post. Here's hoping!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't know whether the trunk will be re-released or not but I sure hope it will be. It would seem to go perfectly with the coach.
